Sarah laughs a laugh of despair.  Genesis 18.  God though is a God of hope.

"We live in a two extremes in a culture.  One of them is shotgun shooting, truck driving, trucker hat wearing, 'Get me my sandwich culture'.  And the other is 'Whatever you want honey.' That's our culture.  And as soon as some godly principle begins to be talked about, and we begin to talk about what God maybe actually calls you to be... we 'Oh, I don't know."  And we are living in the repercussions of that.

Abraham shirked his responsibility in the waiting.  This is a good challenge to men and women and the counter culture roles that God has called you to.
